This clients operates on an international level and is very active in the United States of America. In 2020, eSavvy started with the wording and execution of an ecommerce strategy for this company. The goal was to produce visible results within three months.
The biggest challenge was the remediation of turnover loss. The company’s gross revenue had been shrinking for 6 months. The problem began to arise after the migration to another platform. After this replatforming operation, the company witnessed a serious drop in the number of visitors, lower conversions and a firm loss of turnover.
Due to the serious drop in gross revenue, we knew that we needed a bit of positivity. And we needed it fast. The first step towards achieving this, was interviewing the major stakeholders. After that, we held brainstorming sessions to create more internal trust and goodwill. Lastly, we created an external e-commerce team to deal with web analytics, SEO and CRO.
The e-commerce channel used different software tools and solutions to collect data. But this data wasn’t put to good use. Besides Google Analytics, no other data collection software was used. We started with a thorough analysis by bringing all data sources together and subjecting them to several analyses.
The SEO and CRO specialists carried out a comprehensive scan to map problems and chances. Thereafter, we composed the roadmap and made an extensive schedule per part.
